1. Gardening and baking soda: Clean out old pots, jars and reuse them

Thanks to an impeccable mixture, you will be able to effortlessly remove the old labels from the jars you have decided to reuse!
All you need to do is add a spoonful of extra virgin olive oil and a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda , mix a little to mix and rub on the labels: the containers will be immaculate and completely degreased!

If you want to clean up old vases, add a spoonful of corn starch , bicarbonate of soda and citric acid (the juice of half a lemon!). Rub the mixture over the surfaces carefully and then rinse them with water.

2. Perfume the atmosphere

Fill an empty and very clean spray bottle with water and add 2 tablespoons of bicarbonate to deodorize any smelly objects or corners (such as manhole covers, wheelbarrows, buckets…)

3. Gardening and baking soda to clean soiled clothes

Often, while gardening, it happens to get dirt and water on your clothes.
Before washing them, mix 1 teaspoon of baking soda with 2 teaspoons of water and spread the mixture directly over the notches. Let it rest for a maximum of 5 minutes and proceed as usual!

4. Get rid of lice or mold

If your plants are covered in aphids, just mix 1 liter of water with 2 teaspoons of bicarbonate , put the mixture in a spray bottle and use it directly on the plant! You can use the same mixture if there is mold, but remember to spray it every 10 days!

Mix a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda with 2 of sugar and pour some of the product around the anthill.

6. Remove a painful splinter

Splinters can be really painful and difficult to remove. To avoid further pain, cover the affected area with bicarbonate of soda, bandage it and leave to act for a maximum of 4 hours.

7. Gardening and Baking Soda: Weed Growth

If the walls of your house or garden are full of weeds, cover them with bicarbonate: it will be able to prevent their regrowth.
